Turkish rice (Pılavı)
Asıde (a Turkish sweet to end the meal)
Baklava is a rich, sweet pastry featured in many cuisines of the former Ottoman countries. It is a pastry made of layers of filo dough filled with chopped walnuts or pistachios and sweetened with syrup or honey.
The unique art of making Baklava requires many hours therefor it is not possible to do this along with other dishes.
