How to book with Bridge of the World?
Bookings can be made via email or over the phone. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to complete all bookings, therefor telephone reservations will require a follow up email and confirmation including completion of a mail order form.
How do I pay for my tour?
Bridge of the World currently works with a Mail Order system. We accept patment via Visa or Mastercard for online bookings or you can pay by cash when booking diretly in our agency.
Can I book when I get there?
Yes of course but we recommended you pre book your travel service to avoid disappointment as many of the Bridge of the World Travel tours and products are popular, and can be sold out early. If you wish to wait and book when you get to Turkey, we may not be able to offer you the same deals or discounts that are shown on our web page.
Are tours offered all year round including special holidays?
Yes, all of our offered tours operate year round unless stated otherwise. Museums around Turkey often close on national public holidays for half a day, all of our tours have alternative arrangements for those days.
Do you offer group arrangements and discounts?
Bridge of the World travel specialises in self-guided travel itineraries and small groups. Large group tours can be arranged however as we prefer to accommodate all of our guests in boutique and small hotels, therefor this may not quite suite your group.
Regarding discount, we are happy to discuss iscount based on the number or people you are travelling with.
Is there any discounts for children?
The discounts we offer for children are:
0-2 years old-free,
3-11 depending on tour and type up to 50% discount.
Do I need a visa to travel to Turkey?
Most nationalities will be required to have a visa to enter Turkey. We suggest that you check the current requirements at
Is tipping required in Turkey?
Tipping in Turkey is not expected but is appreciated. If you receive good service it is polite to tip between 5-20% for your services throughout Turkey. You may find in the touristic areas like Istanbul, coastal resorts and Cappadocia that tipping is expected more than in other regions.
Is it safe to travel in Turkey?
Most people who travel in Turkey will only travel through the west of the country and in the touristic areas. In all of these areas there is no threat to tourists. At times eastern turkey can experience some unrest, however again as a tourist travelling in Turkey you are not subject to any danger.
